Each year, 40 to 45 per cent of adults make New Year’s resolutions, with 38 per cent of these resolutions being related to weight issues. For many, this comes timely – particularly after the Christmas binging. The same goes for the Fit Fab Foodies, who want to kick 2011 off by eating right. They are taking up the Sunrise Tofu Challenge, where they will be trying a tofu recipe every day for four (4) weeks, starting Jan 1st, 2011.

The Fit Fab Foodies are 2 bloggers who believe in having their cake and eating it too. While Fit girl (Christine Chou) is all about being healthy, the Foodie girl (Clara Li) would not give up good taste simply for health benefits.

“To be honest, I know that tofu is good for you but I’ve always thought that it was a bit bland. Not anymore! I didn’t realize how many endless things you could make with tofu until now – it is a great substitute for fat, cream, milk and even cheese! You can make desserts, appetizers and even a whole meal out of tofu.” Said Clara Li, A.K.A. Foodie Girl of Fit Fab Foodies.

“For me, tofu is great, but I honestly do not know what to do with it. Seeing all the recipes on the Sunrise website is impressive. I can’t wait to try something quick and easy that is also good for you!” Said Christine Chou, A.K.A. Fit Girl of Fit Fab Foodies, who recently nabbed 3 awards at the WBFF (World Bodybuilding & Fitness Federation) BC Championships 2010 for Figure Masters, Figure Tall and Fitness Diva.

For each of the tofu recipes that they love, the Fit Fab Foodies will be awarding a “lurve it” seal (as seen here) to show how much they love it. Find “Sunrise Tofu” on Facebook to read their daily blogs or visit www.fitfabfoodies.com for more details.
